Parting the Veil
The time before now is hazy, like echoes rippling through mist and fog. You can get snatches of it here and there but you can't quite put it all together. What were you doing before now? It's difficult to pin down. Every time to reach out to part the miasma that inhabits your mind it grows dense and for all the world you cannot lift the veil. Not that it matters. Because you are here now. You are in Alyaria. Welcome to your future.
The Place
Renascence takes place in the Lands of Alyaria. Specifically, in a region known as the Westlands, which include the territories of Haven, the Forest of Reaklia, Moonwell, and the Kasau Brush.
The Time
It is currently late spring. The rains visit only in the afternoons, but beyond that the weather is mild and pleasant. All the world is ablaze with fresh growth and brilliant flowers, even the dry lands of Kasua Brush.
